IH077 - This is it - for your business - Chapter SIX
The pace of technology-driven change is far faster than that of most people or organizations. This gap equals risk, vulnerability, and eventually long-term viability. Closing the gap requires transformation, and that requires a much better understanding of ourselves. Driving transformation requires alignment and evolution, which can only be achieved by getting intimate with everyone.
In today's episode, I reveal the ideas detailed in another chapter of my book, This Is It, titled "Get Intimate With Everyone." Intimacy entails learning about people: what they need, what they want, and most importantly, where their pain points are in their life or business. I share the definition of the Design Thinking Methodology and discuss making decisions to drive successful innovation. I divulge how company transformation results from personal transformation and comprehensive alignment. I also outline how to leave your customers, business, people, and the world in a better place through alignment, transformation, and evolution.
“If you really want to know what they want, don’t ask them what they want—ask them how they feel.” - Chris Colbert
