IH064 - The School of Humanity with Raya Bidshahri

Raya Bidshahri is a global thought leader who works with governments, EdTech companies, investors, and education providers to develop revolutionary education models. She is a serial education entrepreneur, award-winning educator, and keynote speaker. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the School of Humanity and the Founder of Awecademy. Raya is a Bett Future Education Council member and has been named on the BBC’s list of the Top 100 Most Influential and Inspiring Women. Raya joins me today to discuss how we can insert humanity into every aspect of society by revolutionizing education. She reveals the problems with education from the viewpoints of what, how, and where we teach and the bottlenecks we need to overcome from regulation, accreditation, and parents' views of curriculum models. Raya discusses what we should guide young minds to learn, focusing on moral reasoning and transferable skills learned through projects that solve global challenges. She shares what the School of Humanity looks for in its application process and the part-time, full-time, summer, online, and hybrid learning choices.

“There really isn’t learning that is guided by personal development, curiosity, or a desire to better the world, until now.”

- Raya Bidshahri, Founder & CEO, School of Humanity
