Julie and Melissa join me today to discuss repairing ourselves and understanding our humanity. We explore the rift in the world, in America, and in politics, and share how we can bridge gaps, heal with others, and find the middle ground. We share how fear and trauma lie behind many of our patterns and behaviors and how we can break these patterns to make room for other possibilities. We also discuss how shock and trauma impact our belief systems and how to motivate ourselves to create lasting change.

“We have to start with the truth and not judging that within ourselves.” - Julie Matheson

“You can't get to a place where you really understand the common ground unless you have allowed someone to feel heard.” - Melissa Yahia
